This 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera came through our shop as a well-kept example, recently sold and destined for a new owner who values condition as much as performance. Our goal was straightforward: address known issues, elevate presentation, and ensure the car leaves better than it arrived.
Engine Strip-Down & Dry Ice Cleaning
The engine was carefully stripped down to allow for proper inspection and detailing. A compression test was performed across all cylinders, with results confirming a healthy engine and consistent readings throughout.
With mechanical condition verified, a minor dry ice cleaning was carried out to remove built-up grime while preserving original finishes and components. This non-invasive process allows for effective cleaning without introducing moisture or abrasion — ideal for a car of this caliber.
Cooling System & E-Gear Repairs
During inspection, a coolant leak was identified and traced to its source. The affected components were addressed and repaired, restoring proper cooling system integrity.
At the same time, the car was experiencing an E-gear pump that was running continuously, an issue that can lead to premature wear if left unresolved. The system was properly diagnosed, repaired, and verified to be operating as intended, returning factory-correct function and reliability.
Brake Calipers & Wheel Refinishing
To elevate the car’s presentation, the brake calipers were refinished in a striking yellow, providing a bold yet period-appropriate contrast.
The OEM OZ Racing wheels were also refinished in a stunning gold, complementing the Superleggera’s aggressive stance while maintaining originality and lightweight performance.
Ready for Delivery
With mechanical concerns resolved and cosmetic details refined, this 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera was fully prepared for its new owner. The result is a car that not only presents exceptionally well, but performs exactly as intended — sharp, responsive, and true to Lamborghini’s Superleggera philosophy.
