Our History
Founded in 2019 by automotive enthusiast Scott Wistar, Wistar Motors began as a private collection born from a lifelong passion for rare and exotic cars. As demand grew, Scott transformed his personal garage into a full-scale dealership and service operation—offering expert sales, restoration, and bespoke storage. Today, Scott and his son Miles co‑lead the company, continuing to cultivate its reputation by blending hands‑on expertise, personalized service, and a deep-rooted appreciation for automotive heritage.
Wistar Motors began with a single spark of passion — a love for the Lamborghini Diablo. In 2017, Scott acquired his first Diablo, a red 1998 Diablo SV, and it quickly became more than just a car. That machine ignited an obsession not only for the Diablo itself but for the raw, analog driving experience that defined the 1990s supercar era. What started as one man’s enthusiasm grew into a shared passion across the entire shop.
Since then, Wistar Motors has built one of the most distinctive collections of Diablos, ranging from the track-bred Diablo GT-R and SV-R to the iconic SV, SE30, and rare one-of-one examples. This deep connection to the Diablo has shaped the identity of Wistar Motors, inspiring a focus on analog-era supercars that deliver a pure, unfiltered driving experience. Today, that passion continues to drive everything we do — from sourcing and maintaining these legendary machines to helping collectors and enthusiasts connect with the cars that defined a generation.
